Hi fellas! Today I want you to enjoy this wonderful chopper – a custom Ural motorcycle built by a young Polish customizer Slawomir Poros Jr. This bike won the first place at East European Custom Bike Building Championship in 2010. Hope you’ll like it as much as I did when I first saw it.
Just like most special custom projects, this motorcycle has a name – Musashi Miyamoto. It was named after a famous warrior who lived 5 centuries ago in Japan. I’m not sure why the author dedicated his bike to this person, but what I know for sure is that I definitely like the result. This custom Ural has a pure “old-school” and “all-metal” style. You won’t find any unnecessary elements, plastic parts or other “modern” stuff here: just a minimalistic design with a nice paintwork. Pale colors and the quality of the aerography are the elements that make this project complete. What I truly like about this bike is the attention to the details, even the brakes and differential have been customized. This fact shows that this project had some special meaning for its author.
As for the technical side of the project, I’m afraid I can’t tell you much here. The differential, gear box, part of the frame, rear wheel and probably the gas tank are from Ural. Yet, most of the parts are obviously custom-made. I’m not sure about the origin of the engine. It looks like the one from Ural, but I’m not 100% sure about that. Anyway, this polished heart of the motorcycle fits the design ideally.
Hope you enjoyed this old school custom chopper made from Ural with a Japanese name and Polish origin. Such motorcycles can’t just be bought from the nearest motorcycle dealer and this fact makes them truly unique and highly valuable (or even priceless sometimes).
If you know some info about this project, please do share it with me and other readers in the comments.
